How We Fall In Love is a Palestinian Animation film that tells a legendary tale of simple yet extraordinary acts of defiance for love . Drawing from the courage and creativity of political prisoners and their families around the world- we, the makers of this animation film, set out to defy artistic genres, and to create our own unique style of storytelling; a lyrical, musical, visually stunning tribute to the power of love and to the art of life.
On the surface, our story is a simple one; A young couple fall in love get married and have a baby. But in the the shadow of a military occupation, there is nothing simple in 'how' the story unfolds. How do you sustain love life and hope inside prison walls.
